For expat and local players alike, our club is a place of international connection, friendship, and sport right here in Prague.

We are proud to field men’s and women’s Gaelic football teams, as well as a hurling team. Our club welcomes everyone — Irish and non-Irish, seasoned players and complete beginners. Many of our members come from all over the world, bringing an international element to our team environment.

Prague Hibernians are part of the GAA Central East Europe (CEE) division — the governing body for Gaelic games across countries such as Austria, Croatia, Czechia, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, and Switzerland. From April to September, we take part in tournaments hosted throughout these countries, giving players the chance to travel, compete, and connect with the wider GAA community across Europe. (Travel is completely optional, but always great fun!)

Whether you’ve never played Gaelic football or hurling before, or you’re looking to continue your playing journey abroad, you’ll find a friendly, welcoming club here. We believe in teamwork, respect, and community — on and off the pitch — and we’d love you to join us and be part of our story.
